Welcome to the online home of Merit Shop Resources, a not-for-profit corporation. We are industry, schools and individuals working together to improve the skills and training levels of the nation's industrial construction craftsmen.
We are advocates of our technical schools and colleges and the technical education that they provide.
We will endeavor to educate the local communities that we serve, including high school students and their parents, of the great value of a technical school education.
We believe the young men and women that strive to educate themselves in the manufacturing and construction trades are the kind of craftsmen that America needs and to that end we have directed our efforts to helping them be successful.
We will provide scholarship funding, whenever possible, to help them and our military Veterans attend the technical school of their choice to better prepare them for their working careers.
By giving the graduates of our technical schools and colleges an online place to be found, after they graduate, we can streamline the job search process between those that need skilled workers and those looking for work.

Welcome to the online home of the Merit Shop Resources LLC. We are a consortium of Industrial Construction related companies and individuals working together to improve the training levels and knowledge of the Nation's current pool of Industrial Construction workers. We do this through recruitment, retention and by providing continued training and education and employment opportunities.
We also take an active role at the local level to help our vocational high schools and technical colleges better understand the Nation's Industrial Manufacturers present and future need for trained Craftsmen.
We recruit recent and past graduates of these schools and colleges as well as jobsite trained craftsmen and give them a place to post their contact information, availability and training. Think of this as the Yellow Pages of Pipefitters, Welders, Ironworkers, Carpenters and Operating Engineers. We also make available, free of charge, to our member craftsmen a comprehensive list of Craft and Safety Training Videos to help them improve their skills and keep them sharp. We feel we have the safest and best trained craftsmen available today!
Our contractors have instant access to this pool of talent. They can select, sort, group, contact and save their lists of craftsmen, all online. Recruiting for a project will never again be a chore. Our software makes managing your craft resources a breeze. And, a stable labor pool may make it easier to step outside of your own geographic and comfort areas and grow your business.
Our vendors list their goods and services and are easily searchable by Owners and Contractors. Membership here has its own rewards.
